Throw Pillows

Bedding, headboards and sofas are all straight lines, which is why a room full of soft furnishings can still read as flat. These are all shape led rather than print led: a hand knotted ball, a pleated velvet pumpkin, a sculptural round, a corduroy patchwork cover.

Shape survives a change of color scheme in a way a pattern does not, and texture reads at a distance where a print has to be seen up close. Covers are listed separately from filled cushions, so check which you are ordering if you already have inserts.
